Liabilities and Responsibilities

I work very hard with all Clients to make sure their needs are satisfied and they receive the model car of their dreams. Prestige Model Cars service and advise offered is based on “most suitable product” to specific needs. It is by no means to be taken as the final and/or only recommendation or guidance to purchase a model car.

The final decision on which model car to purchase is Client’s responsibility and ownership of that decision stands with the Client.

Prestige Model Cars shall not be liable for any decisions made by Client to purchase a model car not suitable to their needs or specifications.

Description Errors

Prestige Model Cars do everything in our power to make sure the description of the model car is up to date and upmost accurate. If there is any ambiguity in description, missing or conflicting information from manufacturer, Prestige Model Cars provides this information on “as is” basis, without any warranties.

Pricing Errors

Upmost care is given to all information provided, however if pricing error is made through listing of an item, Prestige Model Cars reserves the right to cancel or reject any orders placed at incorrect price. If an order has been placed and paid for by you, Prestige Model Cars reserves the right to credit the incorrect price.

Australian Consumer Law

All goods (model cars) sold by Prestige Model Cars come with standard guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement, refund or credit if a major fault happens.

If quality of the model car is not up to acceptable standards, you are entitled to have the model car repaired or replaced.

The below is a list of guarantees that apply to all model cars purchased from Prestige Model Cars:

  • Acceptable quality
  • Fit for a particular purpose
  • Match description / sample / demonstration model

There may be circumstances when you are not entitled to a remedy, such as misuse of product, damage, use of product not according to the designation of it.
